Subtle nuances open up as the top notes reveal the heart notes, and eventually the root notes which hold our attention throughout the dry down.
This is my ode to the time in history when Russian Leather was prized even more than Italian Leather. It was tanned with essential oils to make it smell divine. In my dreamscape of discovery through historical research I created this scent as something unisex that would be the animalic, dry woods with oriental spice that is the essence of the time.
There is precious little left of this parfum and it grows more beautiful each year. Enjoy~
