Bird of Peace Bamboo Scarf
Folklore is our fairytale celebration of the Arts & Crafts movement. The printed Bird of Peace comes from an original hand stitched work by fibre artist Kim Donohoe, who used single-ply thread to capture every detail of plumage. The background panels come from unfinished works created in 1885 by artist William Morris, whose original pencil sketch lines can be seen where the designs remain incomplete. We left these in intentionally, to celebrate the profound beauty of the artistic process.
After so many requests from our wonderful customers, we're thrilled to introduce scarves to our lineup! We've modelled the size and weight after our favourite vintage French scarves to create chic, easy to wear designs for every day use. Crafted from soft viscose, the fabric is a lighter, airier weight than our kimonos, with the same beautifully soft feel. They make a wonderful gift too!
Pure bamboo / wood viscose. Handwash, hang to dry. 26.77 x 61.02 inches.
