New Moon Total Solar Eclipse.
Morning Opus: Meditation, Inner Mind, Coffee, and Laundry. I caught some of the eclipse on facebook as the foggy silvery heavy mist here was beautiful. I did note that the light darkened for a bit. Errands, banking mid day. Cut payroll, mailed customer orders. Walked in the garden, checked on my drying herbs, and very happy with the sunflowers this week. Came home and rested. Took the opportunity to nap. I never ever take the time to do this, and it was good. Woke, and saw the beautiful sky almost sunset..... Tonight went to the beach for sunset walk. That is lovely tonight, and clear skies above tonight with the milky way shining with stars brightly. Rejuvenating Hot Bath and Herbal Dream Tea, Angel Glow Serum, Anti Stress Serum, Rose Water Spritzer, and Sweet Dreams Pillow Spritz for Rejuvenating Soft Rest. The insights will build slowly over the next six months into 2018. Allowing the beauty of these retrograde planets to brew within us some time to review where we have been walking and where we want to renew as we move into 2018. Now is the time to begin to write the new year's plan, to set up the next steps for moving forward in our dreams. To see insights for your personal MAP please schedule a session, and we can focus in on a set of Ritual Meditative Scent Journeys to tune you up, and get you ready as the new roots, branches and leaves, fruits and seeds are growing in you. Much Love, from the Field Office up on Last Chance Road. Xo L There are several steps to choosing a parfum. When you are dealing with organic scent it is important to work the scent onto your skin, because smelling into the bottle will only yield a sniff of alcohol. If you insist on trying a perfume in the bottle, then please try smelling the inside of the cap first then apply on to your upper arm, not your pulse points, until you know you love the parfum. The top notes of a parfum will be the first ones to reveal their beauty. They usually dissipate within several minutes of being sprayed due to their low molecular weight. The heart and base notes of a parfum take over 10 to 30 minutes in and develop on your skin, and this is when you can truly get an idea if a scent is something you’ll love. So deciding on a new scent wardrobe needs patience, so take some time, and have some fun. Two Delivery Systems: Roll Ons are more intimate, and need to be molecularized into your skin by the friction of crushing the scent once you apply it. Most of the LPO Scents can be layered, especially the soliflores or single notes. In this way you can construct your own signature scent for a lot less than a private appointment. The Sprays are nice as the sprayer nozzle excites the molecules of scent as they are pumped and exiting the bottle virtually crushing the scent to release the scent. I like both and use both. In terms of my pillow and mattress and room spraying, I do love some of the heavier aphrodisiacs this way, instead of on my skin. It is a lovely way to go to bed, complete the dressing of your bed. LOVE this. Our Summer Garden has yielded some amazing costmary, chocolate mint and helichrysum italicum harvests, and we are creating some lovely larger pillow sachets for winter, when the air is needing to be refreshed. I am including a link to a usage for costmary, which is an old english herb that is traditionally used for sachets for lingerie drawer. Our Holiday and Winter Sachets will include the entire scent garden, we will be harvesting all week. Thanks. Look for these to replace the current lavendar, rose and so forth. These are good to hang in your closet also, in lingerie drawers, and so forth, to dissuade moths and winter dullness in dry scent in home. https://www.botanical.com/botanical/mgmh/c/costm107.html "The fresh leaves were also used in salads and in pottage, and dried are often put into pot-pourri, as they retain their aroma. Our great-grandmothers used to tie up bundles of Costmary with Lavender 'to Iye upon the toppes of beds, presses, etc., for sweet scent and savour." Enjoy and have a lovely day.
