Products I used for a weeknight hot bath:
Box of 16 oz Epsom Salts Custom Essential Oil Blend featuring oranges & frankincense Third Eye Chakra Serum Quick shower to rinse off. I put a box of epsom salts into a hot bath as it was drawing. Added a few drops of my custom essential oil blend, twirled around my toes through water. Entered the bath when the water was about 4 inches deep. I have a very deep bath tub. This is a quick 10 to 15 min bath, where I do a light effleurage massage over entire body. Always lightly pull from exterior limbs towards the heart, and using the 3rd eye chakra serum. Before bedtime. Enjoy your dreams then as you meditate on big picture visualization. Just a sweet and quick thank you to everyone who helped me to celebrate my 60th birthday. If you ordered something in our online store during the past few weeks, you will have been showered with surprise gifts along with your order.
We're extending this special through the end of the month when we will celebrate Samhain with a Fire Pit at the SLOWCOAST Airstream Store and LPO Scent Garden. We encourage you to take advantage to reorder your favourites, and do your holiday shopping. All Love to you, and we are wishing you the best month. xo L http://www.clevelandart.org/events/exhibitions/jazz-age-american-style-1920s
Here is an amazing exhibit that will be fun to go see if you are close by. This is the era of Downton Abbey and that of my parents' hey days. There is a lovely wild aspect to this era as well as a decorum that carries with our generations that came after, including the afternoon teas, dancing, and fun. I love that Cleveland will feature jazz music coming up Oct 11. As my own personal tribute, I will be featuring my own personal tea ceremonies using the china and silver that my grandparents and parents collected. xo L In 2016 we planted a flat of milkweed in the intellectually deep heart way of wanting to help the butterflies. We watched a couple videos that outlined the plight of the lower numbers for monarchs. I watched the plants as they came up and had a first year growth but didn't bloom. I figured it must be a two year for first flowers.
Well 2017 has been amazing. Our milkweed plants flowered and they have taken over the garden. The milkweed is hosting successfully many monarchs now. We have since studied the way the butterflies tap our glistening pearl seeds under leaves on plants and then how these become mini catepillars. The Catepillars then need to feed on milkweed because it contains a hgh amount of terpenes which the birds don't like, so catepillars don't get eaten as much. Then they weave these magnificent larvae containers hanging from plants and are born as butterflies. It has been magical seeing the garden explode with butterflies. Besides Monarchs we also have white cabbage butterflies which are gorgeous, smaller, white and scintillating. The occasional Swallowtail butterfly also graces the garden. We're planning on collecting the seed pods and beginning many plant starts for spring, so if you would like to start your own monarch butterfly sanctuary I guarantee hours of happiness as they flit around your garden and bring joy. We hope to continue to help spread the milkweed starts by growing our sanctuary to include other small areas, plots of land. If you would like to take part in our efforts, you can let us know. We're going to be creating a bigger program in the coming months so stay tuned. Our efforts for the bees include the African Blue Basil Flowers, and for Hummingbirds we grow salvias. Thanks for keeping up with our LPO SCENT GARDEN. The POLLINATORS make the garden possible. xo Libby |
