This year has been so good for the pollinators in our Scent Garden. Let me share. It's very exciting to watch the changes over the seasons.
"As the waves of perfume, heliotrope, rose,
Float in the garden when o wind blows,
Come to us, go from us, whence no one knows;
So the old tunes float in my mind,
And go from me leaving no trace behind,
Like fragrance borne on the hush of the wind.
But in the instant the airs remain
I know the laughter and the pain
Of times that will not come again.
I try to catch at many a tune
Like petals of light fallen from the moon,
Broken and bright on a dark lagoon,
But they float away - - for who can hold
Youth, or perfume or the moon's gold."

We will soon put the dahlias to bed for the winter season. We are going to be planting hundreds of daffodils, anemones, narcissus, ranunculous and more for a burst of colour in the spring season and our bouquets.
The shops are filled to the brim with treasure for your holiday gifting now. Our official shop hours remain Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon from 12 to 4pm. However, I am often there on those days at least an hour earlier, and also on Wed, Thu sometimes.
If you need help with gift ideas, send me your list of beloveds, and theme and I will help you by email. Meanwhile, how about this rain? I know the garden is totally soaking it up. Hope this missive finds you well, and I am working on a Scent Journey Menu for your perusal, and will be up in the shops this weekend, along with a refresh of all our testers.
Thanks everyone, for your support this year. By tipping the garden when you shop with us, we have the ability to do repair and maintenance in the garden. This year we accomplished a few of our projects thanks to you. For deeper levels of support, we have membership options on our online shop + you can ask to join the garden membership for 2022 anytime you are in the shops.
