It's been awhile since I have written anything for the blog. I wanted to make some notes here on what has been happening in the garden recently. Thank you to everyone who has been tipping the garden when they come into the shop to make a purchase.
I will run through what I have gotten planted now. 500 sunflowers are in. Our dahlias are in and I have continued to add more to make sure we can offer bouquets again soon, for late summer joy. I re-established our purple statice plantings which probably had disappeared over the years because of gophers. These have been re-establishing nicely and have been planted in most rows. Our herbs are doing so well, having been enjoying some beautiful harvesting for teas. Harvest this week: Lavendar Lemon Balm Spearmint Hyssop Scullcap We built a raised bed and planted 5 crates of dahlias in them to ensure some late season flower bouquets into the early fall. Hope all of you doing well. Our official hours continue to be Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon 12 to 4. You can make your own appt for Perfume Camp class on the website. Thank you, we are in the garden on the other days sometimes. You can reach out to make a private appointment to shop on the other days. Have a fun day. L Perilla, Red + Green Lemon Verbena
