The year comprises eight seasons each made up of 6 week segments. Our First Season: Winter Solstice (Dec 20/21) to Imbolc (Feb 1/2) -The season of transition into the Light graduated on Dec20/21 when we sprang forward to longer light in the evening. For those with herbal knowledge and wisdom it represents the time we plant the garden and get things lined up for the coming year and seasons. Here in California we are lining up seeds in trays for planting, weeding, watering beds, planting gallon containers into the garden, and harvesting. Simple Beauty Rituals for the Season~ Q1 Simplifying Activity; I have decluttered over the years which echoes the same joyful simplicity. For the dresser I simply use the current favourite seasonal scents that I am working with. When they pile up I go through them, refill those I am still using a lot and move scents from earlier seasons into a shelf to be rediscovered again during a later season in the year. I keep my Scents Changing Often for the Beauty of Exciting my Olfactory Memory Center. Some Scents Go Season After Season~ I am still loving a giant bottle of Gardenia Tiare Spray as my Boudoir and Bathroom ROOM SPRAY. It is a complete and utter luxury as my mother always sent me gardenia flowers floating in giant glass floral brandy snifters as soon as I went off to college to remind me of her beautiful gardens. Other favourites now: Lilac Soliflore, Apricot Soliflore, Lavendar Soliflore, Frangipani Soliflore, Honeysuckle Soliflore. These all blend in the air well and can be layered over time. I have the LPO BEAUTY Collection of hand made face and body serums that are a simple luxury I love. I have these sitting on dresser, computer desk, in kitchen next to door, and in bathroom in shower, and on sink area. I keep these replenished, and in abundance, so wherever I am I can reach for an Angel Glow Facial Serum 10ml Roll On. In my bathroom I have a 50ml bottle of this same formulation as I slather it on my legs in shower, arms, torso, everywhere really. Twice Daily during shower or bath. IT is my go to for wellbeing, anti aging, moisturizing. I have 100ml of Anti Stress Serum and 50ml of Prana Serum. I use all of these daily in the large size after bath or shower while taking the smaller 5ml or 10ml in purse with me wherever I go. Bathroom, Bedroom Comforts~ Good organic linens, bed sheets, pillow cases, towels and vintage blankets are my own personal taste to surround myself with deep comfort. I recently bought some new in this area, and loving the simple luxury. I have the added luxury of a helper who cleans my house regularly so that the dust bunnies get handled, and all surfaces remain smooth, clear, decluttered, put away, fresh. I highly suggest new Scents for your New Year, New Decade to create a neural stimulant for brainwaves to create new experiences for you. The Rejuvenating Spring I Regime~ The practice includes~ Yoga Gentle Stretching and #BlueMind Walks along the beach. Once per season~ Organization, Decluttering on a regular basis, Donating Clothes Not being used. I like to keep the furniture moving around ever so slightly from month to month to keep my visual cues fresh, and ideas flowing. Fresh Herb cuttings from the garden for meals, h20 infusions, room fresheners and this season calendula in the pots around my shops, in gardens, in oranges and yellows to echo the bright new season. We harvest them for use in our teas and jojoba infusions that are wonderful for skin care. Grow your own: we sell small seed packs that we harvested from our own plants. They love sun, water. Enjoy.
