Yesterday we started a powerful new cycle in LEO, and it marked my 5th anniversary of landing in Davenport, California. I am happy to say that I call this town home, and wanted to celebrate with a New Moon Parfum creation from the LPO SCENT GARDEN.
I have been watching the Helichrysum Italicum growing all season, awaiting patiently their golden hued beautiful flowers. The scent is at once spiritual and culinary, which is a luscious capture of summer decadence. To the Base of Perfumer's Organic Alcohol 190 Proof, Grape Spirits, I added, a select few flowers of Helichrysum Italicum, fresh small ripe strawberries from the garden, costmary, yarrow pink flowers, rose geranium leaves, lemon verbena, lavendar, and blue basil, marjoram flowers, and more. Will develop this as the month continues. It will be fun to see how it evolves. I will be adding some wild blackberry flowers and fruit from our garden this week, along with comfrey, and more geranium. Sweet Peas also. :)
