In 2013 I created a parfum based on the landscape of the region we live in called the SLOWCOAST. WAVE PARFUM is composed of herbaceous botanical scents that a surfer would encounter on a normal hike down one of our many bluffs to the surfline onto the beach for a session of beach combing, surfing, tidepooling, and a sing around a campfire with s'mores to cap off a beautiful day at the ocean.
This scent embodies the #BlueMind essence in many ways. The ingredient list reads like a who's who of ocean flora and fauna. Created specifically for author Wallace J. Nichols who shared with me he travels with this scent so that when he is away from home he brings his home beach with him. Wave was featured in J's International bestselling book "Blue Mind: The Surprising Science That Shows How Being Near, in, On, or Under Water Can Make You Happier, Healthier, More Connected and Better at What You Do". Ingredients: Seaweed Absolute Fir Anise Eucalyptus Cypress Sage Ambergris Blue Tansy Frankincense Cade The entire recipe/formulation is suspended in an organic jojoba making this a slip on moisturizing scent that starts as a light herbal walk, and finishes with a smoky campfire finish. If you love the beach this is a neuroscience scent that can trigger good memories of times you loved on vacation, special occasions, and daily meditation in, on, near or under water. Pick up a 5ml Parfum in our online shop. The way to use the scent: I like to roll some onto my palms, then frictionalize my palms together, and then cup my hands over my face and inhale. I lightly pull my hands over my face touching ever so slightly, around my temples, forehead, sinuses/cheeks, carotid on my neck, in my hair, on the back of my hands, forearms, and elbows. I love the way this scent is very soft, mellow, yet haunting. My design process includes bringing you back to a neutral palette so you can navigate your daily life. Once the cellular and ethereal uptick is created after the application of the scent, the brain responds immediately within seconds. Inhale, and enjoy the mini vacation to your favorite beach, bluff, and ocean. XO L

Of all the ingredients mentioned here, I believe Ambergris would be the most difficult to find. I heard a lot of people fought hard just to have it in possession. It's actually more expensive than diamonds which price was only made to shoot up even if its actually valued less. Why do a lot of people have to die for something which should be free for everyone to hold and use? Greed is the dirtiest trick in this planet. I wish people would stop trying to own everything they can get hold of to the point of having to kill thousands of people.

A lot of people confuse parfum with regular perfume. For those who are not very familiar, parfum is a type of perfume, however, it contains specifically, natural elements. Well, a lot of us believe that almost all perfumes are like that. This is a common misconception, which is why I do not fault people for thinking that way. I believe that there are only a few parfum companies that are famous in the market, I hope that they actually gather fame.
